Wood Machinist – Wood Manufacturing
Langley Mill, Nottingham
£7.72 per hour DOE Plus 24 Days’ Annual Leave (rising to 25 days’ annual leave with service) 20 Days’ Company Sick Pay, Occupational Pension Scheme, Share Save Plan, Canteen, Car Parking Facilities
Our client’s financial strength and stability continues to grow whilst retaining individual identity and position as a leading manufacturer of performance door-sets. An opportunity has now arisen for a Wood Machinist to join their team.
As a Woodwork Machinist you will be responsible for working from drawings and cutting sheets in order to manufacture performance door-sets.
You will cut, lip and machine sheet material and timber, using a variety of machines. You will also be required to demonstrate your awareness and appreciation of the standards set within the Health and Safety protocol.
To be considered for the role of Woodwork Machinist, you must have:
- a proven background in wood manufacturing
- experience in using wood working machines
- a qualification in joinery, machining or another relevant subject
You will demonstrate an enthusiastic, flexible work ethic and be able to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Candidates must live within a commutable distance of our client’s manufacturing facility at Langley Mill or be willing to relocate.
